SPORTS THERAPY
Sports Therapy helps improve sporting performance. It is also for the treatment of soft tissue injuries gained, not only from sport, but in every day life. Injuries can happen anywhere, in competition, at home or at work.
The treatment is "hands on". Most injuries can be improved whether recent or longstanding; many repetitive strain injuries can be treated successfully.
Techniques such as massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue manipulation and electrotherapy (ultrasound) are utilised. Rehabilitation advice is also given so that return to normal activities can resume as soon as possible.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage can be highly beneficial for both sports and non-sports people. Some of the benefits include improved performance, decongestion of the body, improved recovery after exertion, loosening of tight muscles and restricted joints, reduction of swelling, increased circulation, decreasing of muscle spasm and of course, pain relief.
It is difficult to surpass what massage can offer as a non-pharmacological, non-surgical therapeutic method. Massage is traditional, non-invasive, low risk and holistic.
